After several years of break showing in Latvia, we decided to travel there with a bunch of dogs and crewmembers. On saturday we showed on an INT show judged by the local Sabina Ivanova. Väinö, Cheantake Åh My Gosh JUN EXC2, Frank, Frank Sinatra Blue Bricassart CHAMP EXC3, BM-4 and in bitches Olga, Cheantake Åh Cha Cha JUN VG, Gyda, Cheantake Zillion Dollar Zing INTERM EXC and Ranja, Cheantake Like Million Dollars VET EXC2, VET CAC, new Latvian Veteran Champion. We also took our breeders group to the final rings, with out any success. The only way from here was up, so we headed to our flat to rest for sunday’s show and enjoyed ourselves in a local restaurant specializing in Latvian/ Baltic dishes. We got to taste excellent flavors and got our bellies too full. Thank you Jani for the excellent choice of the restaurant!
On sunday it was the “main day”, Riga Winner-23 and our hopes were a bit more high for this day. Väinö upgraded his result to JUN EXC2 CQ, JUN CAC and Frank CHAMP EXC2 CQ, BM-2 CAC, res-CACIB, new Latvian Champion. Also our girls upgraded their results quite a bit, Olga JUN EXC1 CQ, RIGA JW-23, JUN CAC, BB-4, Gyda INTERM EXC2 CQ, BB-2 CAC, res-CACIB and Ranja VET EXC1 CG, VET CACIB, BOB VET, BB-3 and a new INTERNATIONAL VETERAN CHAMPION! Judge Joao Vasco Pocas, Portugal. We unfortunately didn’t have time to stay for the finals.
Thank you for the travelling company Tiina & Jani, Salla and Julia. We managed it pretty well, only some minor chanllenges in Helsinki due Ahtisaari’s funeral… Unfortunately only a few ok photos from the show available.
